Cook to Lead Expansion and Strategic Growth of Fellowship Program Focused on Next-Generation Leaders

Washington, D.C. mtf.tv’s meet the future – a platform focused on addressing challenges at the intersection of technology, security, and business – is pleased to announce Misty Cook as chair the board of directors for mtf.tv's meet the future Fellowship Program.

Misty Cook is the CEO and founder of Next COC, a national consulting firm representing top government and military officials transitioning into the private sector. A retired Marine Officer with extensive leadership experience, Misty is a lifelong advocate of mentoring the next generation of leaders. As Chair, her role will include expanding the Fellowship Program’s Board of Directors and guiding its strategic growth and partnerships.

Founded in 2023, mtf.tv’s meet the future Fellowship Program is a volunteer-based community service initiative that elevates emerging leaders who seek to advance projects that embrace freedom to drive positive impact and accelerated growth.

A defining feature of mtf.tv’s meet the future Fellowship Program is that its fellows are not just participants — they are the drivers of its initiatives. Each fellow pitches, plans, promotes, produces and moderates one fireside chat, while also supporting the other fellows in their cohort on their efforts.

In the last year, mtf fellows have attended high-profile business and political forums, including the U.S. Export-Import Bank’s annual global economic summit; the Democratic National Convention in Chicago; Women Business Collaborative’s Action For Impact Summit; and Substack’s White House Correspondents Dinner after-party.
