mtf.tv’s meet the future brought together leaders from national security, technology, and business for high-level discussions and networking at an exclusive breakfast in Chicago during the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) spoke on the importance of high-tech manufacturing jobs for Americans, particularly through initiatives like the CHIPS Act, which aims to boost semiconductor production and strengthen U.S. economic competitiveness.
Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) focused on digital democracy, consumer safety, and the future of technology, including the potential for an American-owned TikTok.
The event was hosted by Kevin N. Cirilli, founder of meet the future; Edie Fraser, prominent Washington fundraiser and philanthropist; Sheila Katz, CEO of the National Council of Jewish Women; and Ameshia Cross, Political Contributor/Columnist at The Daily Beast.
