Moon Base: A Foundation for Sustained Presence
Moon Base is a lunar exploration and infrastructure initiative designed to enable sustained human presence and expanded scientific and commercial activity at the lunar South Pole. Robotic missions will work alongside astronauts to study the Moon and prepare the way for future Mars missions.
This marks a pivotal and optimistic step in America’s return to the Moon — this time, to build, to stay, and to unlock new frontiers for science, commerce, and human exploration.
