THE FUTURE STARTS NOW —> DIGITAL HUMANS… COMING IN 2026: Digital humans powered by artificial intelligence will arrive on planet Earth in 2026, according to Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia — the global powerhouse chipmaker.
Huang made the announcement just moments ago in Taiwan at Computex 2024. It comes just three months after Nvidia unveiled another round of powerful chips that serve as the DNA for our digital lives. Get this: Huang just unveiled another class of chips, too.
But it’s the digital humans piece that likely foreshadow what many believe to be the next iteration of the technology revolution. Huang says that starting in 2026, AI products will rely heavily on digital humans (think Alexa with a summer tan) who will become our digital confidants.

Today: You type with your fingers to engage with technology…
Tomorrow (give or take two years): You’ll speak to digital humans.
More on that in a second… but first...

MARKET FUTURES: NVIDIA edition:
WHY IT MATTERS, via CNBC’s Rebecca Picciotto: “The quick turnaround highlights the competitive frenzy of the AI chip market and Nvidia’s sprint to keep its top spot.” More here.
BUSINESS PRIMER, via Bloomberg: Taiwan’s market, where Nvidia is HQ’s, remains Asia’s best proxy for the artificial intelligence BOOM. Consider this: global investors bought $2.7 billion of local shares in May, according to Bloomberg Intelligence.
WHAT TECH NERDS ARE SAYING, via techradar’s John Loeffler: “Nvidia is absolutely, 100% going to become an AI chip company, and whatever gaming appendage sticks around for a few years will become less and less of a focus for the company.” More here.
HOW IT PLAYED…
Reuters: Nvidia says its next-generation AI chip platform to be rolled out in 2026.
Fox Biz: Nvidia’s Jensen Huang promises new computing age led by Taiwanese tech.
Investor’s Business Daily: Nvidia's Jensen Huang Lays Out Plans For Future AI Chips, Touts CEO Math.
Full Computex roundup via The Verge: Here is what’s happening at Computex 2024.
It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s Jeff Bezos? via Bloomberg’s Lynne Doan: “Amazon.com Inc.’s Prime Air drone program has been cleared by US regulators to fly devices beyond the visual line of sight of pilots, increasing range and giving more customers access to the service.
The approval, which means pilots won’t need to be able to see the drones with their own eyes, will allow Prime Air to scale deliveries in the US… The company… will start integrating such shipments into its same-day delivery network this year.” Full story here.
SPACE WEATHER, via Fox Weather: “U.S. farmers trying to plant crops were sent in circles in May when extreme geomagnetic storms disrupted the precise navigation system used to put down rows of seeds. Solar storms between May 10 and 12 produced the first G5 geomagnetic storm, the most extreme on NOAA's space weather scale, in 20 years, creating Northern lights in the southern U.S. However, the beautiful dancing lights are only one aspect of space weather. Geomagnetic storms can disrupt the power grid, communications, airline systems and satellite systems that allow farmers – and everyone else – to use GPS.” More here.
AIR ALERT: Local community masks up after warehouse fire. “[A community in Washington state] is hosting a N95 mask drive-thru on Thu., May 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in response to the poor air quality caused by the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire. Finley, Washington, residents can get their masks in the south parking lot of River View High School, located at 36509 S. Lemon Dr. Residents will get two masks per person. BFHD says N95 masks filter out most fine particles that can harm the respiratory system. They are designed to provide better protection than normal masks.” More here.
See you next week…
One more thing: I’ll be at the annual summit for the Export-Import Bank this week in Washington. mtf.tv’s meet the future is an official stakeholder partner. If you’re in DC, drop me a line!
