SIGN OF THE TIMES: Experts say astronauts should be banned from making ‘space babies,’ via Mirror.
#BREAKING: OBAMA IGNITES ALIENS CHATTER… MTF HAS BEEN HERE FOR YEARS… OBAMA SAYS ALIENS? PROBABLY. VISITS? PROBABLY NOT. On a podcast, former President Barack Obama was asked in a lightning round: “Are aliens real?” He answered, “They’re real — but I haven’t seen them.” That line took off online fast.

—> THE CLARIFICATION: Obama later explained he meant it statistically. The universe is huge, with billions of stars and planets, so life somewhere else is possible. But he said the odds that aliens have visited Earth are low — and he saw no proof of secret labs or hidden spacecraft while in office.
“I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention let me clarify. Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!”

—> MEET THE FUTURE: We are humble. We are gracious. We are also truth tellers. And the facts are that people laughed us out of the ‘cool kids’ club in the nation’s capitol when our little newsletter started openly taking UFOs / UAPs seriously. Well, those days are over. And — as we learned in the theatre — imitation is the sincerest form of flattery — so to those ‘legacy media’ institutions who are now suddenly catching up to the future… welcome.
Onward.
hello, future. it’s me, kev.
…and this is a dispatch from the digital frontier. It’s time to meet the future NOW — with the latest on markets, tech, and freedom. The day is 47. The year is 2025. The planet is Earth.

SPACEPOWER: THREE TAKEAWAYS FROM OUR POWER BREAKFAST WITH DAMON FELTMAN. Thank you to everyone who showed up to meet the future for our SPACEPOWER breakfast with Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Damon Feltman, CEO of the Space Force Association. The conversation was clear: space is no longer optional. It’s foundational.
—> 1. YOU USE SPACE MORE THAN YOU THINK. The average American interacts with space systems more than two dozen times a day. Your bank transaction. Your car’s GPS. Your weather forecast. Your cell signal. Space is not abstract. It is infrastructure. And the Guardians of the U.S. Space Force protect the invisible systems that keep modern life functioning.
—> 2. THE FUTURE OF FREEDOM WILL BE DECIDED IN ORBIT: For 250 years, America has defended freedom across land, sea, and air. Now the frontier is space. Whether the West or China-Russia shapes the rules of space will impact communications, health innovation, mining asteroids and moons, orbital data centers, and economic power. This isn’t sci-fi. It’s strategy.
—> 3. DEMAND NEW IDEAS: We are replaying old Washington fights inside a 20th-century system. Space offers a chance to reset the debate. We need bold thinking worthy of a country founded on exploration and risk. Incrementalism won’t win the space age. Innovation will.

HELLO FUTURE: DIGITAL TWINS, VR & 3D MAPPING — HOW ELECTIONS, EMERGENCIES, AND SPACE MISSIONS GET SMARTER. In this episode, Kevin sits down with Taisha Fabricius of Esri to explore how digital twins and immersive 3D mapping are quietly transforming how America makes decisions.
—> FROM SPACE TO CITY HALL: Esri’s mapping platforms are used by organizations ranging from NASA to state and local governments. Leaders can build digital replicas of cities, infrastructure, or even disaster zones to simulate real-world scenarios before they happen. It’s not just data on a spreadsheet — it’s a living, interactive model.
—> WHY DIGITAL TWINS MATTER: Instead of reacting to crises, officials can now test plans in virtual space first. Emergency managers, election officials, and infrastructure planners use these tools to improve transparency, resilience, and public trust. The shift is from static analysis to immersive strategy.
—> THE BIGGER TREND: As challenges grow more complex — from climate to cybersecurity — leaders need smarter visualization tools. Digital twins are becoming foundational infrastructure for modern governance, planning, and even space exploration.

SPORTS / CULTURE
HELLO FUTURE: THE FUTURE OF THE OLYMPICS (PART 2). In Part 2 of our Olympics series, HELLO FUTURE sits down with Jeff Fellenzer, Professor of Professional Practice at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. With more than three decades across sports media, higher education, and entrepreneurship — and as a longtime Heisman Trophy voter — Fellenzer brings rare perspective on where the Games go next.
—> THE MEDIA SHIFT IS EVERYTHING: The Olympics are no longer just a television event. Immersive viewing, AI-powered highlights, real-time analytics, and short-form storytelling are reshaping how fans experience competition. The question isn’t whether the Games will evolve — it’s whether they can evolve fast enough.

SPACEX CREW-12 DOCKS — FOUR ASTRONAUTS BEGIN LONG MISSION IN ORBIT. A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft successfully docked with the International Space Station at 3:15 p.m. EST, delivering four new crew members for a long-duration mission in low Earth orbit.
—> WHO ARRIVED: NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev are now aboard the ISS. Their Dragon capsule docked to the Harmony module’s space-facing port, beginning standard leak checks and pressurization before hatch opening. Four nations. One orbiting laboratory.
—> WHY THIS MATTERS: Every docking is more than a ride to space. It’s a continuation of a 20+ year experiment in international cooperation 250 miles above Earth. The ISS remains a proving ground for deep space missions, life-support systems, and long-duration human spaceflight — critical steps toward the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
—> THE BIGGER PICTURE: Routine crew rotations like Crew-12 show how commercial spaceflight is now woven into NASA’s strategy. Government agencies and private companies are working side by side to keep humans in orbit continuously. Space is no longer occasional — it’s operational.

ONE MORE THING
MUSK CHANGES HIS MIND — MOON FIRST, MARS LATER. For years, Elon Musk said Mars was the big goal. He wanted to build a city there and make humans a multi-planet species. He even called going back to the Moon a “distraction.” Now he says the Moon comes first.
—> WHY THE MOON? The Moon is much closer than Mars. It takes days to get there, not months. Musk says we could build a growing base on the Moon in less than 10 years, while Mars could take more than 20. That makes the Moon faster, easier, and cheaper — at least for now.

—> WHAT DOES NASA HAVE TO DO WITH THIS? NASA’s Artemis program is working to send astronauts back to the Moon. The first landing could happen in 2028. SpaceX is building the system that will help astronauts land. If the Moon is the goal, SpaceX could get more work — and sooner.
—> IS THIS ABOUT POLITICS? President Donald Trump has said he wants Americans back on the Moon during his term. Musk didn’t mention him directly. But the timing makes people wonder. Planting a flag on the Moon is a big moment. It’s also a big headline.
—> DON’T FORGET THE RACE: Jeff Bezos and his company Blue Originare also trying to land on the Moon. They have their own NASA contract and new rockets. This isn’t just about space dreams anymore. It’s a real race. Mars is still part of the plan. But right now, the Moon is first.
