NASA’s favorite asteroid — OK, well, Kev’s second favorite asteroid — just delivered again. Bennu is packed with the ingredients for life — and even clues from stars that died before our solar system existed.
—> 🍬 Bio-Sugars: Scientists found ribose and glucose — key building blocks for RNA and cellular energy. With earlier finds of amino acids and nucleobases, Bennu now contains every major ingredient for early life chemistry.
—> 🫧 “Space Gum”: Researchers discovered a flexible, gum-like polymer never seen in a space rock. Formed billions of years ago, it may have helped primitive chemistry evolve on early Earth.
—> ✨ Supernova Dust: Bennu holds 6× more presolar stardust than any known sample — material older than the Sun, preserved inside untouched pockets of the asteroid.
Why it matters: Bennu suggests life’s building blocks weren’t rare — they were delivered across the early solar system. Earth didn’t start from scratch. It started with a gift basket.

Bitcoin and ether fell sharply on Monday, as the recent sell-off in cryptocurrencies resumed. Bitcoin was last seen at about $85,894.03 at 04:19 p.m. ET, a 6% slide. Ether dropped 8.4% to hit $2,776.39. Solana had fallen more than 9%, and was last seen below $125, while other closely watched tokens were also in the red.

—> 🤖 THE SURGE: More than 150 Chinese companies are building humanoid robots, fueled by cheap hardware, big AI breakthroughs, and billions in investment. Some bots can now box, play basketball, or walk 66+ miles while swapping their own batteries.
—> 📈 THE RED FLAG: China’s National Development and Reform Commission says money is pouring in so quickly that companies are all building the same robots, repeating the bike-share bubble of 2017 when the streets overflowed with unused bikes.
